This is one of the most difficult books I have ever read. At that place is then much suffering, pain, hatred and evil documented here. The ringing of the church bell in commemoration of the expiry of a dear, reminded me of reading The Blackness Volume of Communism (another volume of bitter medicine), which highlights the slaughter of people around the world past the governmental aspirations of Marxists. The Black Book of Communism, Courtois, Paczkowski, & Bartosek, 1999

The difference here is that the wickedness is directed specifically at the Body of Christ, brothers, and sisters, who believe in Jesus. I tried to pray through the items listed, just grew weary at various times, and felt relieved when I was done. To aide me in praying for these countries current needs, I consulted…

The jewel to mine from this publication is Ibrahim'due south comparison of the teachings of Islam, the teachings of Christianity and how they interact, besides equally application of these principles to history. After explaining the application of the Weather of Omar in history and contemporary Islamic society, Ibrahim turns to Sharia Law.
"The precarious condition of churches and other forms of Christian expression under Sharia law is allegorical of Islam's innate hostility to Christianity. But Islamic law goes further, denying freedom of speech to all Christians and even liberty of conscience and conviction to Christian converts. Sharia curtails these freedoms past ways of three laws that, though separate, often overlap: the laws against betrayment, irreverence, and proselytism. For example, the Muslim who converts to Christianity is guilty of apostasy. Just he can also be seen every bit a blasphemer, whose very existence is an affront to Islam. And when he speaks well-nigh Christianity—equally enthusiastic new converts are wont to do—around Muslims, he exposes himself to charges of proselytism. These 3 Islamic laws effectively ban freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and even freedom of thought.
Start we volition examine the doctrinal background of these three laws. Then we volition consider how and why it is that Christians are virtually probable to break them. And finally we will look at how the Islamic doctrines enshrined in these laws accept played out in practice—by examining some historical patterns and then looking at current applications of the laws. One time once more we will see remarkable continuity—from one end of the Islamic earth to the other, and from the earliest beginnings of Muslim history to today—in how these laws are understood and enforced." Crucified Once more, Ibrahim, 2013, pg. 95-96.
He then concludes past examining how the tenets of Christianity place adherents at odds with Muslims.
"1. Christianity is the largest religion in the world. There are Christians practically everywhere around the globe, including in much of the Muslim world. Moreover, because much of the territory that Islam seized was originally Christian—including the Heart East and North Africa, the region that today is called the "Arab globe"—Muslims are regularly confronted with vestiges of Christianity…
two. Christianity is a proselytizing faith that seeks to win over converts. No other major religion—not Buddhism, Hinduism, or Judaism—has this missionary aspect. These other faiths tend to be coextensive with certain ethnicities. The only other major faith that has as stiff a missionary component as Christianity is Islam itself— the ane religion that Muslims obviously cannot "apostatize" to….
3. Christianity is the quintessential organized religion of martyrdom. From its inception—beginning with Jesus, and followed past his disciples and countless others in the early on church—many Christians have accepted martyrdom rather than betray their faith, in ancient times at the hands of pagan Romans, and in medieval and mod times at the hands of pious Muslims and other persecutors. Few other religions encourage their adherents to embrace death rather than recant their faith, equally Christ himself did: "But whoever denies me before men, I will deny him earlier my Male parent in heaven" (Matthew 10:33; see also Luke 14:33)…
Plus, there is one other exacerbating gene. More than any other religion, Christianity is Islam's historical enemy. Converting to Christianity is seen as something of a double betrayal. Non only is the convert an backslider from Islam—which, as we accept seen, can be overlooked as long as the apostate keeps his betrayment to himself, as apostates oftentimes exercise—simply the open convert is publicly declaring that he has constitute something meliorate than Islam in its nemesis, Christianity." Crucified Again, Ibrahim, 2013, Selections from pg. 107-109.
I plant these three aspects of Ibrahim's assay (Status of Omar, three Laws of Sharia, Why is Christianity consistently targeted?) to be particularly insightful. And indeed, it is the thesis of Ibrahim's book to explain the relationship between Islam and Christianity specifically. He is too advocating for the Western World to notice how and why Christians are denied human rights in Muslim society.
As I read in 2021, many of the events referenced in Crucified Again (published in 2013) are dated. All the same, Raymond Ibrahim maintains a website (https://www.raymondibrahim.com/blog/) that tracks these events on a regular ground to fill the gap. For electric current news on the state of the church in persecution, Ibrahim also recommends:
World Spotter Monitor http://t.co/MGePQn9HSC
International Christian Concern https://t.co/GlLSrvuJ51
While the current-in-2013-testimonies of individual stories beyond countries serves to provide bear witness for Ibrahim'southward estimation of the contemporary tape (and the history preceding), information technology does bog the read down with recitation of horrific violence.
However, as brutal, and consistent every bit clashes between Christians and Muslims are through history, upon considering these facts to review Crucified Once again, it is not simply Christians that have been simultaneously targeted and negated past Islamic terrorism. As I was working on this review in October of 2021, 3 articles appeared, each highlighting the refusal to admit the role of Islamic radicalization in attacking diverse groups and each challenge the malicious intent of Islam toward a specific group was being ignored, minimized, or covered up.
This commodity examines Muslim violence in the U.s.a.. This discussion is instigated by an attack on a JetBlue aeroplane in September 2021, but it likewise highlights other incidents that have been concealed in our national reporting. The focus here is not attacks on Christians, simply attacks on Americans.

In 2009 I read The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam by Robert Spencer (published in 2001). This text first angry consideration of the effect of violent Muslim extremism in my mind. Spencer also documented both the rise of violence and the somnolence of the West in addressing the threat, the same theme that runs through both Crucified Again (published in 2013) and the three articles (2021) I've cited in a higher place.

Apparently, whether we desire to acknowledge it or not, many Muslims *believe* they are at state of war against Christians, Jews, and Western society as evidence by their own declaration and actions, such equally enacting and enforcing Sharia Police force and the Atmospheric condition of Omar in state and sending terrorists abroad. Non-Muslims that live throughout the 10/40 window in which Islam has prominence are daily aware of this conflict, many moderate Muslims and non-Muslims have fled to the West to escape this violence (with radicals arriving congruently with the express purpose of instigating it), but those that live in the West remain ignorant.
Sobering reading that makes ane want to accept their house in order.
Ecclesiastes 7 comes to mind…

While the mind of fools is in the house of pleasure.

Than for one to listen to the song of fools."

This is a well researched book and very timely equally the persecution of Christians in the Islamic world is proceeding at an alarming charge per unit. Crucified again by IslamistsThis is a well researched volume and very timely equally the persecution of Christians in the Islamic world is proceeding at an alarming charge per unit. The writer says that the attacks on Christian churches in the Muslim world are perchance the most visible expression of Christian persecution nether Islam. Muslim mobs attack them and jihadists massacre them. The suffering has been ongoing for centuries but it has intensified in the wake of the so-called "Arab Spring" and Obama'southward support has accelerated the problem. In every single Islamic country that Obama has helped rebels and opposition forces to topple the ruling secular regimes has made information technology worse for Christian population. In Libya under Gaddafi, the Christian minority was free to practice their faith, simply in the current socio-political system where the al-Qaeda linked jihadists are destroying churches and kept then in constant fearfulness. The aforementioned story in Republic of iraq, the yr following the ousting of Saddam Hussein, jihadists went on a church building bombing spree, destroying countless churches and killing many Christians who, under Saddam, were relatively well tolerated. The indigenous Christian population has been decimated now. Missionaries are non welcome and Bible distribution is not tolerated. Islamic bullying is repeated in Syria, which was secular under Assad but the so chosen "freedom-fighters" supported by Obama are targeting Christians for killing, displacement, and hostage taking for ransoms. The atrocities existence committed are barbarian. The life for Christians in countries like, Yemen, Sudan, Morocco, and Tunisia have besides gone bad since the Arab Spring. The rise of Islam equally a political force has provided a bully impetus for the enforcement of Sharia and apostasy laws. Conversion to Christianity is not only a scary experience merely besides long incarceration or sure death.
The author points out that the commonage punishment of Christians and religious minorities who "refuse to know their place in the Islamic order" has doctrinal backing. Islamic countries lecture Western countries about religious tolerance and proper treatment Muslims in the West, and even lobbying for a global blasphemy law at the United Nations, simply they do zippo virtually blasphemy of Christianity in their own countries.
The author concludes that the futurity of Christianity beyond the Middle Due east, Africa and parts of Asia is very grim and perhaps pb to the extinction if nothing is washed. He reminds united states that Islam burst out of Arabia during the 7th century when the Christian population was a major force, 1400 years of sporadic jihads, the decimation of Christians seems to be certain and this is causing the Eye East to be purely Islamic.

I would propose every American, every Westerner, to read this book. Definitely not PC, Raymond Ibrahim is eminently qualified to write on the bailiwick. He pulls no punches and everything he claims is well documented. At times it was hard to read the stories of human'south brutality to his fellow man."The pressure to refrain from mentioning uncomfortable facts about the persecution of Christians is enormous. Fiddling wonder that then many Christian leaders are reluctant to speak near persecution, even when most of their flock wish to hear about it.
Fifty-fifty something equally minimal every bit instituting a short prayer for persecuted Christians, a practice that would at least increase awareness of the situation, is shunned. After all, such a prayer would heighten uncomfortable questions - such equally who is primarily backside this persecution, and why - that few American Christian leaders desire to confront. Commenting on general sluggishness and apathy that reigns in many American Christian churches, Open Doors U.s. president Dr. Carl Moeller recently said,
We would call back of the American church as a napping church building and that nosotros would elbow it and it would wake up and rouse itself and practice something [about the persecution of Christians]....In my mind today, the picture I have is a church in a diabetic blackout that has gorged itself on the sweets of abundance, materialism, and the idolatry of worshipping the materialistic earth. That diabetic coma is now life threatening. We as a church building are at the point of decease - not the church in the Heart E. Nosotros are the ones who tin no longer rouse ourselves to fifty-fifty pray for an hr on behalf of things that God would have us pray for."

Raymond Ibrahim's Crucified Again is at once alarming, shocking and dull. The book documents attacks by Muslims on Christians, Christian churches and Christian organizations throughout the world, especially in predominately Muslim countries.Ibrahim uses newspaper manufactures and TV news programs that are printed and circulate in Standard arabic and, thus, largely ignored past Western media as a source. He also uses regional Christian newspapers and magazines and newspapers from organizations that document man rights abuses. He then proceeds to methodically listing example after case of anti-Christian attacks from Nigeria, to Egypt to Indonesia.
Ibrahim starts with a short overview of the history of Muslim/Christian relations in majority Muslim countries. He lists the Koranic verses that are used to justify persecution of Christians (and all other faiths) and then demonstrates how it is washed again and once more and again. This is where the book becomes both...

This statement sums upward a great bargain of what is wrong with much of the world today. I gave only two stars because I experience there is no need for about of the hyperbolic language used by the author. The awful worldwide persecution of Christians is truthful and horrible enough, even if there is a lack of reporting in this country. I recommend instead, The Global War on Christians past John L. Allen, Jr.

Christian martyrdom is a terrible and present consequence. In this well documented study, Ibrahim covers the sufferings of Christians all around the world, everywhere that Islamic Sharia and the culture it is central to are in force. There is much to learn, and this gave me a practiced foothold, and much to think about. It also bankrupt my centre.
This volume talks most the situation in parts of Africa, Pakistan and Indonesia and how our politicians are basically aiding and abetting the terrorists.
Pretty scary and besides disgusting how our country kow tows to these Muslims!!!
Interesting and worrying read as it does speak the truth about the modern day threat!
If I was to liken it to whatsoever other book it would exist a mod poorly written Mein Kempf
